Our Deputy Captain announced over the ship’s P.A. system that today would be dry with temperatures reaching a most acceptable 22 degrees. Our slightly late arrival this morning was due adverse sea conditions which began around two days ago.
I never learn! Today’s chosen shore excursion is a whale watching cruise. The boat, sleak, with maybe 3 decks is packed to the gunnels with excited tourists and screaming children! They have quitened down and at long last, so have the announcements and sales pitches. Actually, this is most pleasant!

I have written a little more about this in the next blog. The images below depict the arrival at Pier 6 from where the whales watching cruise departed. opportunities for uninterrupted photographs of our ship were plentiful at the start of our excursion. More comment and photographs later in the day.
David.
